All of the members of Dr. Johnson’s dental team share his commitment to providing truly outstanding dental care. The entire staff has studied at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies and has taken many hours of continuing education to enhance their skills.
Victoria, Practice Manager
Victoria brings nearly a decade of experience in the dental field and has been a valued part of Smile Carolina Dental Group for several years. She earned her bachelor’s degree in chemistry as well as an MBA in healthcare management from Saint Francis University, giving her a strong foundation in both patient care and practice leadership. Victoria is passionate about creating a positive experience for every patient and strives to help others feel as comfortable and confident about visiting the dentist as she did growing up. She also takes great pride in supporting her team and fostering an environment where both patients and staff feel cared for.
Originally from Pennsylvania, Victoria enjoys spending time with her family outside of the office. She and her husband have a beautiful daughter and a lively household that includes five dogs, five chickens, and a turtle that has been part of the family for 20 years. In her free time, she loves reading a good book on the beach or going camping with her family.
Jennifer, Dental Patient Care Coordinator
Jennifer came to our practice in 2021, and she has almost a decade of experience in the dental world. For her, nothing feels better than getting to know a patient to the point that they feel like family. She graduated from the University of South Carolina and is a certified dental assistant who has completed training focused on physiological dentistry and digital veneer design.
A Mount Pleasant native, Jennifer has a fiancé and two adorable dachshunds waiting for her at home. She likes to stay active outside of the dental office by running, snowboarding, wakeboarding, and kiteboarding. She once snowmobiled 100 miles through the Teton Mountains in Wyoming!
Eve, Receptionist
Eve is a friendly face at the front desk who enjoys helping patients feel welcomed and comfortable from the moment they walk through the door. Although she is newer to the dental field, she has quickly found a passion for working with patients and being part of a supportive, team-oriented environment at Smile Carolina Dental Group. Eve takes pride in creating a positive experience for each patient while helping keep the day running smoothly for both the team and those they serve.
Originally from St. Simons Island, Georgia, Eve loves spending time with her family and enjoying life outside of the office. She has an amazing boyfriend, a sweet cat named Stella, and four siblings she enjoys spending time with. In her free time, you can find her at the beach, attending concerts, or shopping with her sisters. A fun fact about Eve is that she spent three years working in a bakery.
Angel, Registered Dental Hygienist & Periodontal Therapist
Angel is a valued part of Smile Carolina Dental Group and brings over three decades of experience in dentistry. She earned her Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene from Trident Technical College and has completed advanced training in periodontal therapy through the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. Angel is passionate about building long-term relationships with her patients and loves having the opportunity to get to know them over the years while helping them achieve healthier smiles.
A Charleston native, Angel has been with her husband Travis since high school, and together they have two children, Claire and Davis, as well as their beloved dog, Avie. Outside of the office, she enjoys decorating her home, working on projects with her husband, and traveling in their RV for weekend trips—especially to the Smoky Mountains. One meaningful part of Angel’s story is that she donated a kidney to her sister, and both are doing well today.
Jan, Certified Dental Assistant
Jan graduated from Mercer County Technical Center and has attended continuing education courses at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. For more than two decades, she has assisted during dental procedures to ensure optimal comfort and communication.
Jan adores her coworkers and finds great personal satisfaction in helping patients transform their smiles and self-confidence with contemporary cosmetic dentistry. Jan and her husband Scott have one son.
